First-Year Standing: Expected graduation date between fall 2029 and spring 2030. Eligible to apply to the 2027 Scholars Program only — not eligible for the Internship Track.

Sophomore Standing: Expected graduation date between fall 2028 and spring 2029. Eligible to apply to the 2027 Scholars Program and opt into the Internship Track (option available within the application).

Before You Begin

Prior to beginning your application to the 2027 GWI Scholars Program, please review the following information carefully:

Full participation in the Scholars Program is required for all admitted participants. Mandatory virtual programming for the GWI Scholars Program will begin in early December 2026 and will continue through summer 2027. For further details regarding time commitments, please review our website.
Girls Who Invest does not limit or exclude applications according to citizenship status. Be advised that the majority of internship matches facilitated by GWI require unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. and will not be filled by students on Curricular Practical Training (CPT), or by those who would otherwise need visa sponsorship in the future (i.e., STEM OPT, H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).
Participants must be 18 years old by May 1, 2027 to participate in in-person programming.

Application Deadlines

There are two deadlines for the 2027 GWI Scholars Program.

Priority Deadline: September 15, 2026 — decisions by October 15, pending application volume
Final Deadline: October 15, 2026 — decisions by early December

While transcripts and Reference Feedback Forms (Internship Track applicants only) can be submitted after an application has been submitted, GWI reserves the right to review and render final decisions on incomplete applications. Please upload all required materials as close as possible to the date of application submission.

Applications submitted by the final deadline can anticipate receiving a decision by early December.
